Beatty is the Eastern Gateway to Death Valley National Park.  Furnace Creek is only 33 miles from Beatty on SR 374. 

Bertram's Corner is the local internet service provider with local dial up service, wireless 24/7 broad-band service, and web page hosting.  The business is locally owned and operated for the benefit of Beatty and its residents.  Although we are actually located on the corner of First and Cedar Street, the business name is a tribute to my late wife Heide who used the name in her arts and crafts business and who contributed so very much to my life and to the town of Beatty.
